Abstract
ENGLISH:
This study was aimed to know about difference the average score between post-test in experimental and control class. To determine whether students’ achievement that using Alphabet Race Game better than sconventional method. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design through a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely class VII.5 as the experimental class with 32 students and class VII.1 as the control class with 31 students. The research instruments used were tests (pre-test and post-test) and observation sheets. The data were analyzed using the t-test (Independent Sample T-Test) with the help of the SPSS 26 program. The significance (2-tailed) of 0.006 was less than 0.05. The average value of post-test experimental class was 76,37 and post-test control class was 65,67 and ttable 2.000. It means tobtained > ttable or 2.853 > 2.000, this means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted (ha) and the null (h0) hypothesis is rejected. In other words, there was a significant differences of using Alphabet race game towards students’ vocabulary Achievement.
