Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengevaluasi seberapa besar hubungan peran ayah terhadap kematangan emosi pada siswa kelas XI di MAN 1 Belitung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel yang diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling sebanyak 138 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner peran ayah dan kematangan emosi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Menggunakan SPSS versi 26.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara peran ayah dan kematangan emosi dengan nilai person correlation sebesar 0,637 yang menunjukkan bahwa derajat hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut kuat. Hasil kategorisasi yang peneliti lakukan juga menunjukkan bahwa tingkat peran ayah berada pada kategori tinggi, sedangkan kematangan emosi pada siswa kelas XI juga berada pada kategori tinggi. Hal ini berarti bahwa peran ayah memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kematangan emosi siswa. Semakin tinggi peran ayah maka akan semakin tinggi pula kematangan emosi siswa.
ENGLISH:
This study aims to evaluate the extent of the relationship between the father's role and emotional maturity in grade XI students at MAN 1 Belitung. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The sample taken using a simple random sampling technique of 138 students. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire on the role of the father and emotional maturity. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. Using SPSS version 26.
The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between the role of the father and emotional maturity with a person correlation value of 0.637 which indicates that the degree of relationship between the two variables is strong. The results of the categorization carried out by the researcher also showed that the level of the father's role is in the high category, while the emotional maturity of grade XI students is also in the high category. This means that the role of the father has an important role in increasing students' emotional maturity. The higher the role of the father, the higher the emotional maturity of the students.
