Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi motivasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Payung tidak merata dan cenderung rendah. Hal tersebut disebabkan karena belum efektifnya pendekatan pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji: Pelaksanaan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dengan menggunakan pendekatan Deep Learning pada kelas eksperimen serta pembelajaran tanpa pendekatan Deep Learning pada kelas kontrol di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Payung. Perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat motivasi belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan pembelajaran Deep Learning dan kelas kontrol yang tidak menerapkan pembelajaran Deep Learning pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan pretest dan posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 63 peserta didik yang terbagi dalam dua kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Data-data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan independent sample t-test sebagai uji hipotesis.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam yang menerapkan pendekatan Deep Learning berlangsung secara interaktif, terstruktur, dan berpusat pada peserta didik, sedangkan pembelajaran tanpa pendekatan tersebut cenderung bersifat konvensional dan berpusat pada pendidik. 2) Perbedaan yang signifikan motivasi belajar peserta didik antara kelas yang menerapkan Deep Learning dan kelas yang tidak menerapkannya, dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 dan selisih rata-rata sebesar 13,077. Ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Deep Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.
ENGLISH:
This study was motivated by the uneven and relatively low learning motivation of Grade X students in Islamic Religious Education at SMA Negeri 1 Payung. This condition was caused by the ineffective learning approach applied in the instructional process. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning using the Deep Learning approach in the experimental class and learning without the Deep Learning approach in the control class at SMA Negeri 1 Payung. In addition, this study aimed to analyze the significant differences in students’ learning motivation between the experimental class applying the Deep Learning approach and the control class that did not apply the Deep Learning approach in Islamic Religious Education.
This research employed a quantitative experimental method using a pretest–posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 63 students divided into two classes. Data were collected through questionnaires, tests, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, with the independent sample t-test applied as the hypothesis testing technique.
The results showed that: (1) Islamic Education learning implemented using the Deep Learning approach was interactive, well-structured, and student-centered, whereas learning without this approach tended to be conventional and teacher-centered; and (2) statistical analysis revealed a significant difference in students’ learning motivation between the class applying the Deep Learning approach and the class that did not, with a significance value of < 0.05 and a mean difference of 13.077. These findings indicate that the Deep Learning approach is effective in enhancing students’ learning motivation in Islamic Education.
