Abstract

INDONESIA:
Kesuksesan suatu sekolah ditentukan oleh kolaborasi, refleksi, dan aktivitas berbagi praktik baik yang dilakukan oleh para guru dalam komunitas belajar di sekolah. Keberadaan komunitas belajar di sekolah sangat penting sehingga harus diselenggarakan secara optimal dengan berbagai pendekatan. Namun, penyelenggaraan komunitas belajar di kabupaten Bangka belum dianggap optimal. Kesenjangan kondisi ini mendorong peneliti untuk mengkaji lebih dalam bagaimana optimalisasi komunitas belajar di SMP IT Yabunaya Pemali, sebagai salah satu sekolah yang mendapatkan Bantuan Operasional Sekolah (BOS) Berkemajuan Terbaik di Kabupaten Bangka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi prinsip-prinsip pendekatan behavioral dalam optimaliasi komunitas belajar di SMP IT Yabunaya Pemali, Kabupaten Bangka.

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data penelitian bersumber dari data primer dan data sekunder melalui observasi partisipatif terhadap kegiatan komunitas belajar dan pembelajaran di kelas, wawancara terstruktur dengan kepala sekolah, ketua komunitas belajar, seluruh guru, dan tenaga kependidikan, serta dokumentasi. Data kemudian dianalisis dan disajikan secara deskriptif melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi data, dan validasi data melalui triangulasi.

Hasil penelitiian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi prinsip-prinsip pendekatan behavioral, yaitu prinsip penguatan (reinforcement) dan hukuman (punishment), penguatan primer (primary reinforcement) dan penguatan sekunder (secondary reinforcement), jadwal penguatan (schedule of reinforcement), manajamen kontingensi (contingency management), pengkondisian operan (operant conditioned), dan pembentukan perilaku (shaping) dapat mengoptimalkan komunitas belajar SMP IT Yabunaya Pemali, Kabupaten Bangka. Kondisi tersebut masih terdapat kekurangan, misalnya penguatan sekunder belum variatif, porsi jadwal penguatan tetap lebih besar sehingga antusiasme anggota komuntas masih berfluktuatif, dan perlu adanya kontrak manajemen kontingensi tertulis untuk mendorong perilaku positif.

ENGLISH:
The success of a school is determined by the collaboration, reflection, and sharing of the best practices conducted by teachers within the learning community at the school. The presence of learning communities in schools is very important and should be organized optimally with various approaches. However, the learning communities’s organization has not been considered optimal. This gap in conditions encourages researcher to analyze optimize the learning community at SMP IT Yabunaya Pemali, one of the Best Progress Operational School Assistance (BOS) in Bangka Regency. This study aims to analyze the implementation of behavioral approach principles in optimizing the learning community at SMP IT Yabunaya Pemali, Bangka Regency.

The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The data researched is sourced from primary and secondary data through participatory observation of community learning activities and classroom learning, structured interviews with the principal, the leader of the learning community, teachers, and education staff, as well as documentation. The data is then analyzed and presented descriptively through data reduction, data presentation, data verification, and data validation through triangulation.

The result indicate that the implementation of the principles of a behavioral approach, namely reinforcement and punishment, primary reinforcement and secondary reinforcement, schedule of reinforcement, contingency management, operant conditioning, and shaping behavior can optimize the learning community at SMP IT Yabunaya Pemali, Bangka Regency. However, there are still shortcomings, for example, secondary reinforcement is not yet varied, the portion of the fixed reinforcement schedule remains larger, causing the enthusiasm of community members to still fluctuate, and there are is a need for a written contingency management contract to encourage positive behavior.
