Abstract
INDONESIA
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran, adanya kekurangan dari faktor tingkat kedisplinan siswa, tidak fokusnya siswa dalam mata pelajaran, tugas rumah, serta pengaruh lingkungan merupakan faktor yang menghambatkan proses pembelajaran, kurang tersedianya fasilitas komputer sedangkan pembelajaran personal komputer sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengikuti perkembangan teknologi & ilmu pengetahuan serta adanya peniadaan Ujian Nasional (UN) menjadi Ujian Sekolah (US). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan mutu lulusan di MAN 1 Pangkalpinang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan fokus pada peran strategi kepala madrasah dalam pengelolaan mutu pendidikan. Subjek penelitian meliputi kepala madrasah, guru. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan dengan langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijaga melalui teknik triangulasi sumber dan metode untuk memastikan validitas hasil penelitian.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala madrasah menerapkan berbagai strategi dalam meningkatkan mutu lulusan, di antaranya melalui penguatan visi dan misi madrasah, peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan dan supervisi, pengembangan kurikulum yang adaptif dan berbasis karakter, serta penciptaan budaya religius dan berprestasi di lingkungan madrasah. Adapun mutu lulusan di madrasah, antara lain yaitu pengembangan akademik, pengembangan guru, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan menjalin kerja sama dengan orang tua.

The problems in this research are based on the limitations of facilities and infrastructure in supporting the learning process, the lack of student discipline level factors, students' lack of focus in subjects, homework, and environmental influences are factors that hinder the learning process, the lack of computer facilities while personal computer learning is very much needed to keep up with the development of technology & science and the elimination of the National Examination (UN) to become the School Examination (US). This research aims to determine the strategy of the madrasah principal in improving the quality of graduates at MAN 1 Pangkalpinang.
This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on the strategic role of madrasah principals in managing educational quality. Subjects included madrasah principals and teachers. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was maintained through triangulation of sources and methods to ensure the validity of the research results.
The research results show that madrasah principals implement various strategies to improve graduate quality, including strengthening the madrasah's vision and mission, improving teacher competency through training and supervision, developing an adaptive and character-based curriculum, and creating a culture of religious and high-achieving students within the madrasah. The quality of graduates in madrasahs includes academic development, teacher development, extracurricular activities, and fostering partnerships with parents.
