Abstract

ENGLISH:
This study aimed to describe the implementation of Wordwall online media in improving students' vocabulary achievement on pronoun, noun, verb trough descriptive text and to find out whether there is a significant difference between students who were taught and students who were not taught by using Wordwall online media in improving vocabulary achievement among Class VIII students of SMPN 1 Mendo Barat. This study used a quasi-experimental design. The research sample was taken from two classes with a total of 58 students: Class VIII A, with 29 students, as the experimental group, and Class VIII B, with 29 students, as the control group. An Independent Sample T-test revealed a significant difference in post-test scores between the experimental (taught with Wordwall) and control (taught without Wordwall) groups. The significance (2-tailed) of .000 was less than the 0.05 level, and the t-count (4.914) exceeded the t-table critical value (2.009 at 56 degrees of freedom). This led to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). It could be concluded that there was a significant difference between students who were taught by using Wordwall online media and students who were not taught by using Wordwall online media.
