Abstract

INDONESIA

Guru PAI sebagai salah satu pelaksana dan penentu berkualitas atau
tidaknya sebuah pembelajaran tentang nilai-nilai keislaman di sekolah khususnya di tingkat Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN). Guru terus berusaha meningkatkan kualitas dirinya agar menjadi guru PAI yang berkompetensi. Ragam kompetensi guru khususnya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Dalam Peraturan Perundangundangan Menteri Agama RI Nomor 16 Tahun 2010 mengenai pengelolaan Pendidikan Agama Pada Sekolah ditegaskan bahwa guru PAI harus memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial, professional, dan kepemimpinan.

Metode yang peneliti gunakan yakni kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan
data primer dan data sekunder yang didapat dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumetasi. Setelah itu, data dikumpulkan serta dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman seperti reduksi data, penyajian data, serta verifikasi data.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sudah terpenuhinya lima
kompetensi guru PAI SDN di Sungai Selan dengan strategi atau metode mengajar yang disesuaikan pula dengan masing-masing kompetensi sebagai upaya mewujudkan perilaku Islami pada peserta didik SDN di Sungai Selan. Peneliti menyarankan guru-guru PAI SDN di Sungai Selan untuk terus melakukan evaluasi secara terus menerus baik bersama pimpinan sekolah maupun evaluasi mandiri, dengan tujuan terciptanya kualitas SDM yang unggul yang sudah sangat paham terkait kompetensi yang sudah harus dimiliki oleh guru PAI.

ENGLISH
PAI (Islamic Religious Education) teachers are key implementers and
determinants of the quality of learning about Islamic values in schools,
particularly at the elementary school level (SDN). Teachers continuously strive to improve their quality to become competent PAI teachers. There are various competencies required of teachers, especially Islamic Religious Education teachers. According to the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs Regulation No. 16 of 2010 on the management of Religious Education in Schools, PAI teachers must possess pedagogical, personal, social, professional, and leadership competencies.

The method used by the researchers is descriptive qualitative, utilizing
primary and secondary data obtained from observations, interviews, and
documentation. The data is then collected and analyzed using the Miles and
Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and data verification.

The results of this study indicate that the five competencies of PAI
teachers at SDN in Sungai Selan have been fulfilled, with teaching strategies or methods adjusted to each competency as an effort to instill Islamic behavior in SDN students in Sungai Selan. The researchers recommend that PAI teachers at SDN in Sungai Selan continuously conduct evaluations, both with school leaders and independently, with the goal of creating superior human resources who are well-versed in the competencies that PAI teachers must possess.
