Abstract
ENGLISH:
The main objective of this research is to find out the use of Simon Says Game to improve students’ vocabulary achievement especially vocabulary in term of noun and verb of the SMP Negeri 5 Belinyu. This research used quantitative method in form of pre-experimental research. The population of this study was 3 classes consisting of students to the eight grades of SMP Negeri 5 Belinyu. The researcher took two classes of population as the samples consisting 56 students which were one class consisting of 29 students as an experimental group and the other one are 28 students as an control group. The data were collected through Observation, Test and Documentation. The data in this research were taken from pre-test and post-
test. The result of the data analysis showed that there was significant difference between pre-test and post-test. The researcher finding indicated that by used Simon Says Game can improve the vocabulary Achievement students especially on noun and verb vocabulary. Based on to the independent-samples t-test analytical comparisons, the experimental group's students outperformed the control group in terms of test scores (Table 18). The experimental group's mean post-test score was 80.00, while the control groups was 74.82. As a result, it was determined that the null hypothesis was incorrect. It could be concluded that Using Simon Says Game was improve vocabulary achievement students to the eight grades student of SMP Negeri 5 Belinyu.
