Abstract
ENGLISH:
This research was aimed to discover a significant difference by comparing samples who got a treatment by using English Day Program as a learning platform and those who were not in the eleventh grade of SMK N 1 Bakam. It also wanted to discover English Day Program’s effect as a learning platform on samples' English Speaking skills. This study adopt a quasi-experimental design and also an experimental. 50 pupils were included in the sample from two classes, with 25 placed as experimental group and 25 as control group. Two areas of this study's scope were restricted: fluency and accuracy. Pre-test and post-test procedures were used by researcher to assess pupils' speaking skills. The test was analyzed by SPSS 26. The observation’s outcome revealed, English Day as a learning platform gained the pupils’ enthusiast, motivated, and pupils gained confident in their oral skills. The research found that the mean in experimental class (Mean= 4.036) was higher compared to control class (Mean=3.680). In conclusion no a significant effect on pupils’ speaking skills by using English Day Program as a Learning Platform was discovered.
