Abstract
ENGLISH:
The purpose of this study is to find out the significant difference between grade XI students at SMA Muhammadiyah Toboali who received treatment using Interactive Videos and those who did not. This study also wanted to find out whether Interactive Videos can influence students in enhancing their speaking skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design which is part of the quantitative method. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah Toboali. The population of this study were XI grade students consisting of two classes, namely XI Ibnu Khaldun and XI AL Ghazali classes. The sample of this study was 70 students from both classes, namely 35 students as the experimental group and 35 students as the control group. In this study, the sampling technique that researchers used was non probability sampling more specifically using saturated sampling. Based on the results of statistical analysis of quantitative data taken from the pre-test and post-test, it was found that there was an increase in students' scores in students speaking skills taught using the Interactive Videos media, the average pre-test was 58 and post-test was 81 in the experimental group, while in the control group students who were taught without using the Interactive Videos obtained an average pre-test value of 57 and post-test 70. It can be concluded that the Interactive Videos media is effective to enhance students speaking skills.
