This study investigated the students' perceptions of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning English from the cognitive, affective, and conative aspects. A mixed-methods research design was employed involving 87 undergraduate students of the English Education Study Program. Quantitative data were collected through a 28-item questionnaire, while qualitative data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with 8 interviewee. The findings indicated that students had positive perceptions of using AI in learning English. The mean scores were 3.11 for the cognitive aspect, 2.92 for the affective aspect, and 3.12 for the conative aspect, indicating positive perceptions across all aspects. The interview findings supported the questionnaire results by showing that students perceived AI as a helpful learning tool that enhanced their English learning while recognizing the importance of using it responsibly. AI is perceived as a valuable tool that supports English language learning and contributes positively to students' learning experiences.
