Abstract

INDONESIA:
Penelitian berjudul “Studi Spiritualitas Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an bagi Penyandang Tuna Netra di Pesantren Tuna Netra Nurul A’Maa Pemali, Bangka Belitung” dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena pesantren tuna netra yang mengakomodasi pembelajaran Al-Qur’an bagi penyandang tuna netra di Bangka Belitung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model pembelajaran Al-Qur’an bagi penyandang tuna netra serta menganalisis spiritualitas yang terbentuk melalui proses pembelajaran tersebut di Pesantren Tuna Netra Nurul A’maa Pemali. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap pengajar dan santri tuna netra.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dilaksanakan melalui kombinasi metode talaqqi, tasmi’, dan tikrar yang bersifat multisensori, adaptif, dan kontekstual, sehingga efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca, menghafal, serta kualitas bacaan Al-Qur’an braille. Selain aspek pedagogis, pembelajaran Al-Qur’an juga berperan penting dalam pembentukan spiritualitas santri tuna netra. Berdasarkan kerangka spiritualitas Christina M. Puchalski, spiritualitas santri tercermin dalam empat aspek utama, yaitu makna hidup (meaning), tujuan hidup (purpose), keterhubungan (connectedness), dan transendensi (transcendence). Keterbatasan penglihatan dimaknai secara positif sebagai bagian dari kehendak Allah yang mengandung hikmah, sehingga melahirkan sikap ikhlas, sabar, syukur, dan optimis. Selain itu, penelitian ini menemukan aspek kemandirian sebagai temuan empiris yang memperkaya kajian spiritualitas, yang terwujud dalam kemampuan santri mengelola diri, bekerja, dan menjalankan peran sosial secara mandiri. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa spiritualitas penyandang tuna netra tidak hanya bersifat batiniah dan relasional, tetapi juga teraktualisasi secara nyata dalam sikap hidup yang produktif dan bermartabat, serta memberikan kontribusi penting bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam inklusif.

ENGLISH:
This study, entitled “A Study of the Spirituality of Qur’anic Learning for Persons with Visual Impairment at Pesantren Tuna Netra Nurul A’Maa Pemali, Bangka Belitung,” is motivated by the existence of an Islamic boarding school, specifically accommodates Qur’anic learning for students with visual impairment in Bangka Belitung. The study aims to describe the model of Qur’anic learning implemented for persons with visual impairment and to analyze the spirituality developed through the learning process at the pesantren. This research employed a qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving Qur’an teachers and visually impaired students.

The findings indicate that Qur’anic learning is conducted through a combination of talaqqi, tasmi’, and tikrar methods, which are multisensory, adaptive, and contextual in nature. This combination has proven effective in improving students’ abilities in reading, memorizing, and enhancing the quality of Braille Qur’an recitation. Beyond pedagogical outcomes, Qur’anic learning also plays a significant role in shaping the spirituality of visually impaired students. Based on Christina M. Puchalski’s framework of spirituality, students’ spirituality is reflected in four main aspects: meaning, purpose, connectedness, and transcendence. Visual impairment is positively interpreted as part of God’s will that contains wisdom, fostering attitudes of sincerity, patience, gratitude, and optimism. In addition, this study identifies independence as an empirical finding that enriches the discourse on spirituality, manifested in students’ ability to manage themselves, work, and perform social roles independently. These findings demonstrate that the spirituality of persons with visual impairment is not merely internal and relational, but is also concretely actualized in productive and dignified life attitudes, contributing significantly to the development of inclusive Islamic education.
