Abstract
ENGLISH:
This research was aimed to discover a significant difference by comparing the statistic result of t-test of experimental that got treatment by KIM strategy with control group that did not get treatment by KIM strategy at MTs Annajah Paya Benua grade IX. Other than that, the researcher also wanted to discover the effect of KIM as a learning strategy to learnt vocabulary on procedure text. Students behavior while learning using KIM strategy was analyzed by observation sheet. This study used quasi-experimental design. There are 2 classes were included in this experimental, 13 students from experimental class and 14 students from control class. The researcher used SPSS 24 to analyze pre-test and post-test result. The researcher found that the result of mean post-test of experimental class is 78,62 and the result of mean post-test of control class is 43,00 in which that experimental post-test is higher than control post-test, this led to the conclusion that learning by KIM strategy could improve students’ vocabulary achievement of the 9th grade students at MTs Annajah Paya Benua.
