Abstract
INDONESIA:
Ketidakpuasan masyarakat terhadap pendidikan umum yang dinilai belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan yang holistik mendorong munculnya inovasi pendidikan berbasis nilai keagamaan, seperti Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT). SDIT hadir dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam dalam seluruh aspek pembelajaran dan terbukti mampu mencetak peserta didik yang cerdas secara akademik, berkarakter, dan berakhlak mulia. Peningkatan jumlah peserta didik di SDIT, khususnya di Kabupaten Bangka Barat, menunjukkan tingginya antusiasme masyarakat terhadap model pendidikan ini. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikaji lebih dalam mengenai eksistensi SDIT dalam paradigma definisi sosial sebagai bentuk respon masyarakat terhadap kebutuhan pendidikan yang lebih komprehensif dan bermakna.
Tujuan penelitian ini 1) mendeskripsikan paradigma definisi sosial masyarakat Bangka Barat terhadap pendidikan Islam, 2) Mendeskripsikan paradigma sosial definisi sosial tentang Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) di Bangka Barat , dan 3) mendeskripsikan perkembangan sekolah dasar Islam terpadu di Bangka Barat
Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif bertujuan untuk menggambarkan fenomena perkembangan Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT). Penelitian ini tidak mencari hubungan sebab-akibat, tetapi hanya ingin memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang fenomena tersebut serta memahami makna pengalaman sosial dan kultural dari para pelaku pendidikan secara mendalam. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan 1) Paradigma masyarakat Bangka Barat sangat tinggi dalam memilih pendidikan Islam sejak dini melalui SDIT, terutama dari kalangan orang tua yang memiliki kepedulian tinggi terhadap pembentukan karakter dan moral anak, menjadikan pendidikan Islam sebagai fondasi utama dalam kehidupan, 2) Sejarah SDIT di Bangka Barat, mencerminkan eksistensinya sebagai respon masyarakat terhadap kebutuhan pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman secara mendalam dengan pendidikan umum, sebagai alternatif strategis dan terjangkau, dan 3) Tren peningkatan jumlah SDIT menunjukkan dukungan luas dari masyarakat dan komunitas Islam, dengan latar belakang pendiri yang beragam namun memiliki visi yang sama untuk membangun pendidikan berbasis nilai-nilai Islam yang mampu menyeimbangkan capaian akademik dengan pembinaan moral dan spiritual.

Public dissatisfaction with general education which is considered unable to meet holistic educational needs has encouraged the emergence of educational innovations based on religious values, such as Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT). SDIT is present by integrating Islamic values in all aspects of learning and has proven to be able to produce students who are academically intelligent, have character, and have noble morals. The increase in the number of students in SDIT, especially in West Bangka Regency, shows the high enthusiasm of the community for this educational model. Therefore, it is necessary to study more deeply the existence of SDIT in the paradigm of social definition as a form of community response to the need for more comprehensive and meaningful education.
The objectives of this study are 1) to describe the paradigm of the social definition of the West Bangka community towards Islamic education, 2) to describe the social paradigm of the social definition of Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT) in West Bangka, and 3) to describe the development of integrated Islamic elementary schools in West Bangka.
This type of research is descriptive research aimed at describing the phenomenon of the development of Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT). This study does not seek a causal relationship, but only wants to provide a clear picture of the phenomenon and understand the meaning of social and cultural experiences of education actors in depth. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation.
The results of the study show 1) The paradigm of the West Bangka community is very high in choosing Islamic education from an early age through SDIT, especially from parents who have a high concern for the formation of children's character and morals, making Islamic education the main foundation in life, 2) The history of SDIT in West Bangka, reflects its existence as a community response to the need for education that integrates Islamic values in depth with general education, as a strategic and affordable alternative, and 3) The trend of increasing numbers of SDIT shows broad support from the community and Islamic communities, with diverse founders' backgrounds but have the same vision to build education based on Islamic values that are able to balance academic achievement with moral and spiritual development.
