ENGLISH :
West Bangka has the potential for a variety of foods from the food processing industry. One of the sub-districts in West Bangka Regency, namely Muntok sub-district, has earned the nickname "city of a thousand cakes". This nickname was obtained after this city received an award in 2010 from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) as the initiator and organizer of making the most types of cakes.

This research uses the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) to determine a person's intention or interest in certain behavior which is influenced by attitudinal factors, subjective norms and behavioral control. The significance level used is 10%. The data collection techniques used were printed questionnaires and Google forms which were distributed to 62 respondents as primary data sources. Primary data in the form of the distribution of respondents' identities was analyzed using the SPSS version 27 program. The results of this research show that understanding has no effect on the processing industry's interest in processing halal certification, from the t test, namely the significance value for the understanding variable is 0.794>0.1. Religiosity influences the processing industry's interest in processing halal certification, the results of the t test, namely the significance value for the religiosity variable is 0.000<0.1. Certification costs have no effect on the processing industry's interest in processing halal certification, the significance value for the certification cost variable is 0.297>0.1. The certification procedure has no influence on the processing industry's interest in processing halal certification, the significance value of the certification procedure variable is 0.054<0.1. Understanding, religiosity, certification costs and certification procedures influence the processing industry's interest in processing halal certification. This can be seen in the significance value of 0.00 < 0.1. The magnitude of the influence of understanding, religiosity, certification costs and certification procedures on interest simultaneously is 67.8%. Meanwhile, the remaining 32.2% is influenced by other factors. So it can be concluded that understanding (X1), religiosity (X2), certification costs (X3), certification procedures simultaneously influence the processing industry's interest in processing halal certification simultaneously.
