Abstract

ENGLISH:
The aimed of this study were to find out whether there is significant correlation between parents’ support and students’ learning result of English at tenth grade MAT Sabiilul Muhtadiin Jada Bahrin. The population in this study were all of tenth grade students. The sample in this study were all class xagama and xmipa students with a total 50 students. The method of this study was quantitative method and technique used was correlation technique. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire about parents’ support and report book about learning result. Both of the data were calculated with SPSS version 26 program. The result shows that was a positive correlation between parents’ support and students’ learning result of English. It’s proved by the rxy (0.459) which bigger than rtable (0.279) in the degree significance 5%. In considered that the researcher’s hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. Afterwards, the researcher concluded that there was medium correlation between parents’ support and students’ learning result of english. It means that parental support has been identified as positively impacting students’ learning abilities and learning result
