Abstract
ENGLISH:
The aim of this research was investigating the correlation between the habits of watching youtube and students speaking skill. The researcher took 30 students as a sample of research using purposive total sampling. The instruments used by researcher were questionnaires to measure habits of watching youtube and speaking test to measure students speaking skills. The questionnaire consisted of 15 statement and speaking test was dialog about advice material. The instrument were distributed to 30 student at MA Al-Muhajirin Koba. The result of this research were calculated using SPSS 29. The result of this research showed that there was strong enough correlation between the habits of watching youtube and students speaking skills. It is proved by the rxy (0,473) was higher than r-table in the significance 5% (0,374). It is considered that the alternative hypothesis in this research accepted and the null hypothesis was rejected, which is stated that there was correlation between the habits of watching youtube and speaking skills. In conclusion, there was positive correlation between the habits of watching youtube and students speaking skills. That means, students who have the habits of watching youtube have better speaking skills than those who are not.
